Areas we cover
We work across Yorkshire from our office at Finningley in Doncaster, in person and remotely. Each area page covers the employers in that town, how we get there, and what the local job market is like for someone looking.
Towns and cities we cover, by county
West Yorkshire
West Yorkshire overviewThe old textile belt, now the county's densest concentration of financial services, retail head offices and distribution.
South Yorkshire
South Yorkshire overviewSteel and coal gave way to advanced manufacturing and rail-connected logistics. Our own office sits here.
North Yorkshire
North Yorkshire overviewEngland's largest county by area. Employment concentrates in York, the coast and the market towns rather than spreading evenly.
East Yorkshire
East Yorkshire overviewThe Humber ports, offshore wind and food manufacturing, with employment clustered tightly along the estuary.
Why this list is shorter than you might expect
We cover employment centres rather than every settlement in Yorkshire. Redundancies are made by employers, so the town that matters is usually the one someone works in rather than the one they live in. If your town is not listed, the nearest one on this list almost certainly covers you, and we support people remotely across the whole county in any case.

Not sure which area applies?
Call the office and ask. We would rather have a two minute conversation than have you work it out from a map.
Call the Doncaster office directly, or send a few details and we will come back to you.
